Introducing Cadillac Kustomz Hotel

Nestled on the picturesque Isle of Bute at 23 Marine Place, Rothesay, the Cadillac Kustomz Hotel boasts a commendable rating of 4.8. A unique blend of American diner charm and Scottish hospitality awaits its guests in this boutique experience.

Guests rave about the hotel’s the stunning waterfront views, cleanliness, and the welcoming nature of the owners, Brodie and his wife. Valerie Gordon notes, “our room was immaculate and very well thought out, difficult to beat that view,” highlighting the attention to detail that enhances the stay. With locally-inspired breakfast options, including perfectly cooked tattie scones and black pudding, diners can feast on first-class morning meals, further elevating their experience.

For those seeking entertainment, the hotel features live music and a vibrant bar atmosphere, making it a lively destination. However, guests might find the musical talent as a charming, albeit humorous, addition to the experience, as noted by Valerie, “unfortunately they couldn't sing, hope they played for free.”

Perfectly located with easy access to local stores and restaurants, the hotel is just minutes away from attractions like Mount Stuart and Rothesay Castle, making it an ideal base for exploration. Lisa Campos praises its “perfect location overlooking the water” and the accessibility to nearby eateries. Additionally, guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking, ensuring convenience throughout their stay.

AjayyR6’s anniversary experience encapsulates the warm memories formed in this inviting setting. An unexpected slice of Americana on the Scottish coast, it resonates with visitors seeking a unique getaway. The hotel’s ambience, complete with retro diner decor, adds an undeniable charm that transports guests to another time and place. Andrew Leitch describes it as “a fine themed boutique hotel” that balances great diner food with an upbeat bar culture, making it a sought-after destination.

Gary (Gazza) articulates the blend of cultures perfectly: “Scottish Honky Tonks A Slice of America with a Scottish Twist.” This phrase encapsulates the essence of the Cadillac Kustomz Hotel, where warm Scottish hospitality meets the nostalgic flair of American diner culture.

Edward Pattinson adds to the narrative, emphasizing the hotel’s value, cleanliness, and the respectful nature of the owners. Though there might be small inconveniences like a hot shower, the overall experience remains commendable. Guests appreciate the added touch of Tunnocks tea cakes in their rooms, further enhancing the local charm.

In summary, Cadillac Kustomz Hotel is much more than just a place to stay; it is an experience that welcomes guests into a world of hospitality, authenticity, and memorable moments. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, it stands as a testament to the irresistible allure of combining American cultural elements amidst the breathtaking beauty of Scotland.

Very friendly owners, our room was immaculate and very well thought out, difficult to beat that view. Unique hotel, who needs to go to the States! Our breakfast was first class, nice to find a hotel who can actually cook a tattie scone and black pudding properly! Nice to have live music unfortunately they couldn't sing, hope they played for free! Would definitely return, good luck to you!

Scottish Honky Tonks: A Slice of America with a Scottish Twist Scottish Honky Tonks offers an unexpectedly authentic American diner experience, right in the heart of Scotland. From the moment you walk in, the decor immediately transports you to a classic roadside diner across the pond – think retro booths, neon signs, and walls adorned with Americana. The attention to detail is incredible, making the place feel like a genuine piece of Americana right by the Scottish waterfront. The owner is one of the friendliest people you'll meet. During my visit, he was unfortunately quite understaffed, and you could sense his stress, but he still managed to offer warm hospitality and a smile. It was clear he cares deeply about his guests, and despite the challenges, he made sure everyone was well looked after. That personal touch really stood out. The diner itself is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. The food was delicious – classic diner fare done right. From juicy burgers to perfectly seasoned fries, everything was fresh and flavorful. And for the quality of the food, the prices were fantastic – great value for money. The location is another bonus. Being so close to the waterside adds a certain charm to the experience. After your meal, you can take a stroll by the water, enjoying the beautiful views, which adds a peaceful and scenic element to the overall visit. In short, Scottish Honky Tonks is a delightful spot that blends American-style comfort food with Scottish hospitality. If you're looking for tasty food, a unique atmosphere, and great value, this diner is definitely worth a visit.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was the best value for money in the town I believe. It's clean and the owner is very friendly and welcoming always respectful with customers. We stayed in 55 and had a little problem with the shower nothing to complain about really but we couldn't turn down the temperature of the shower which was very hot. We thought the tunnocks tea cakes with tea in our room was a very nice touch. I would stay again and probably will this year sometime
